In Burma, there is a place call Inle Lake where houses sit on stilts and people use canoes to travel. In this picture, a kitten travels with his owner on the canoe.
This picture was taken at sunrise on a beautiful day in Bagan, Burma. Bagan is known for the thousands upon thousands of pagodas that dot the landscape.
In Burma, it is common to see markets full of fresh fruits and vegetables. People travel far to come to these markets to sell their produce.
In this picture, the young girl wears thanaka powder on her face which is very popular for females in Burma. Besides it’s cosmetic purposes, it also provides protection from the sun and smoothes the skin.
